Lincoln Visitor Information Centre
January 2020
"We could immediately recognise
this was just not another
advertising screen
but something
different".
We are excited to announce that the Lincoln Visitor Information Centre, located in the popular
historic area between the Cathedral and Castle, is the newest location to house one of our large
digital media screens. And it has pride of place in the centre of the building.
This is especially exciting as:
• The building is an attraction in itself dating back to the
reign of Henry VIII (1543)
• It is long established as a Visitor Information Centre, since 1980
• It has approximately
180,000 visitor annual footfall
• The Information Centre is
open 7 days a week
Jason Jones our head of Client Services confirms “It was always important to us to have the
Cathedral City of Lincoln on board..... but to have its Visitor Information Centre itself as a
location for one of our media screens is perfect. We look forward to working in partnership with
the centre’s team to promote the best of Lincoln.”

Michele Sims, the Visitor Information Manager, says “Our friendly team responds to thousands of visitor enquiries ranging
from places to visit, where to eat, what’s on, public transport and much more. When we were approached by Jason and he
showed us his company’s media digital screen, which was perfectly housed in a traditional telephone box surround, we
immediately recognised this was just not another “advertising screen” but something different and something that would be
beneficial to the centre and to our visitors. So we made space and it now has pride of place in the centre of the building.
We too look forward to an on-going Partnership with Red Phone Box Media to help promote the best of Lincoln.”
